We charge on a fixed session rate. We typically book one customer a day, and spend as much time on the ground and in the air as needed for the day's goals. Currently the first session is $700 to allow more initial ground instruction, then $600 per session. This will cover a single flight of typically 1.0 to 1.4 hours and related ground instruction that will depend on the topic. It'll always be over 2, and 3 or more hours is typical for the first few sessions.
Use of parachute is included, headset is available but you may bring your own, standard connector.
Sessions are by appointment, scheduled once we establish your needs and goals. Please see the Contact Us page.
We try hard to be ready for customers, and expect the same in return. No-shows or seriously late arrivals will have a $100 fee added to that or next session- if there is one. In return, you'll get a $100 credit if we screw up.
We'll confirm every session beforehand so that both parties are aligned and alert to issues such as weather. You're a pilot, you'll share the weather decisions.
Weather, aircraft maintenance issues, illness, or circumstances indisputably beyond anyone's control are excluded.
In full each session. Payment by cash, check (preferred) or Paypal. Paypal payment will add a $15 surcharge to partially cover their fees.
We're here primarily to provide access to an aerobatic aircraft for training in the New England region. The IAC chapter 35 website has links to instructors who focus more on pilot hires, and with wider aircraft expertise if you've got something other than a Decathlon.
